Environmental Assistant Manager

Alexiss joined SouthWestern Power Group in February 2021 and has since built a well-rounded background supporting large-scale energy development projects.

During her five years with SouthWestern Power Group, Alexiss spent two years on the Real Property team, where she gained valuable knowledge in land acquisition and landowner coordination. She then transitioned to the Environmental Permitting team, where she has spent the past three years garnering experience permitting large-scale energy projects.

In her current role, Alexiss focuses on environmental permitting with an emphasis on community outreach and stakeholder engagement. She also helps lead state agency coordination, working closely with regulatory agencies to help advance project development and ensure compliance.

Alexiss was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of New Mexico.
