Project Development New Mexico

Leon Porter serves on the Project Development team for El Rio Sol New Mexico in real estate development and Right of Way acquisition. He has helped lead and develop strategies for reroutes, mitigation and land Right of Way. His consulting work with landowners, local, state and federal agencies in negotiating and securing easements for the El Rio Sol transmission lines has been instrumental in moving the El Rio Sol project forward. Leon also boasts a lengthy teaching and administrative career in high school and higher education institutions prior to entering the energy industry. He resides with his family on his ranch near Corona, New Mexico.
